BLACKPINK member Lisa Manoban took to social media to express her gratitude and reflect on her acting debut as the third season of The White Lotus officially came to a close.

On her Instagram page, Lisa shared behind-the-scenes photos from her experience playing the character Mook in the hit HBO series.

“What a ride. Thank you Mike White for trusting in me to fulfill the role of Mook and bring her character to life,” Lisa wrote, referring to the show’s creator.

Born in Thailand, Lisa expressed her appreciation for being part of a project that highlights her heritage and showcases her home country.

“It was the greatest honor to be part of this show as my first acting gig alongside such incredible actors. And I’m so proud to be able to share my culture and show the beauty of Thailand to the world,” she added.

Reflecting on her role, Lisa shared how deeply the character resonated with her, saying, “Mook has changed my life in a way where I am learning more about myself and my capabilities.”

Though saddened by the series' conclusion, Lisa expressed gratitude for the experience.

“My Sunday nights may feel a lot emptier but closing out The White Lotus with a full heart ❤️🪷,” she said, ending her message.

Lisa portrayed Mook, a wellness guru working with guests at a luxury beach resort in Thailand. Her character forms a romantic friendship with Gaitok, a security guard played by Tayme Thapthimthong.

In an interview with Variety, Lisa described Mook as similar to herself but “flirtier and lady-like — I’m more like a tomboy.”

Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, she added, “This role is really sweet. It’s not something too crazy for Blinks and Lilies to watch. It’s my first time acting, so I was really nervous on set, to be honest.”

She also shared how she felt after they wrapped their shooting.

“For me, it [was] a bittersweet moment. I felt relieved that, “Oh, I’m finally wrapping this.” But also, I was just feeling so sad because I don’t know when I’d get to see these people again. We had a lot of fun together. We had a lot of great memories. I was a little bit sad, and now it’s coming out soon, so I’m excited. I’m so excited for the audience to watch,” she expressed.

The K-pop idol joined a star-studded cast for White Lotus Season 3, including Leslie Bibb, Carrie Coon, Walton Goggins, Sarah Catherine Hook, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, Sam Nivola, Lek Patravadi, Parker Posey, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Tayme, Aimee Lou Wood, Sam Rockwell, and Scott Glenn. Natasha Rothwell and Jon Gries reprised their roles from previous seasons.
