Prior to watching My Love Will Make You Disappear, some Kapamilya celebrities shared what they were looking forward to in the romantic comedy movie of Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino, which has been continuously gaining support from both local and foreign audiences.

In an exclusive interview with PUSH ABS-CBN, the artists, who attended the exclusive block screening organized by the Star Magic at Ayala Malls Vertis North, shared a common expectation: to experience the ‘kilig’ that the movie promises.

This common expectation stems from the guaranteed on-screen chemistry of Kim and Paulo which they manifested in their previous projects together.

“I’m looking forward to more kilig moments, kasi especially I’m 13 years old. Syempre ang mga gusto ko pa dati is more like ‘pambata’ but now I’m more (invested) in kilig moments,  romance like (this movie) of Ate Kim Chiu and Kuya Paulo,” then Kapamilya child star Heart Ramos said.

Singer-songwriter Esang de Torres, who was also present at the event, shared the same sentiments as Heart.

Esang came with her brother, James Philippe, who also shared his own expectations of the movie.

“Gusto ko makita yung chemistry nila, excited ako na i-watch yung movie,” James expressed.

Meanwhile, former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Kanata Tapia expressed her happiness for the opportunity to watch the film alongside other artists.

“I’m so happy na na-invite ako dito sa block screening ng KimPau movie. Of course, I expect kilig, tawa and what if drama? I don’t know, we will see,” she said.

Kanata’s PBB Gen 11 batchmate JP Cabrera shared a different motivation in watching the film.

Although JP agreed to the sentiments of other celebrities, he was very particular about his excitement for his friends, JM Ibarra and Fyang Smith, fondly called by fans as JMFyang, who had their cameo in the movie.

The exclusive block screening was graced by the movie’s main stars who expressed their appreciation and gratitude for the Star Magic and their supporters.

As of March 31, the romantic comedy movie had earned P100 million in local box office sales, winning the hearts of many Filipino viewers.

According to Variety,  My Love Will Make You Disappear also made its mark in North America, after gaining approximately $500,000 during its opening weekend.
