“Hindi mo sinabi na nasa labas ka. Nakakahiya naman sa pamilya mo,” said Emilio Daez to his Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition duo, Michael Sager, when he videocalled him to have lunch together two days after being in the outside world.

Emilio was surprised to find out that Michael was actually out eating with his family. Michael assured him he didn’t mind though.

“I have to join you, bro. I’m too clingy,” Michael responded, laughing.

Emilio is one of the most recent evictees of Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition. Along with his duo Michael, Emilio exited Kuya’s house last April 26.

It seems he is still adjusting to the outside world because he couldn’t wait to catch up with the other half of the beloved “Mili” duo and have lunch together, albeit virtually. He went live on Instagram for the first time, added Michael and gave him a call.

“That’s my duo, pare! Miss you, brother!” he greeted him. “I love Team Mili. Team Mili is the best!”

Michael introduced Emilio to his loved ones, and all of them warmly greeted Emilio as well. The two are so close, it seems, that Michael even made sure that Emilio would attend his sister’s wedding.

“Hi Ate, I’m excited to be at your wedding,” said Emilio to Michael’s elder sister. “I’ll be the best guest ever. I’m really honored. I’m so happy to be part of this special day. It’s going to be a special day for me too.”

The two joked about inviting BINI’s Jhoanna and Stacey to the call, dubbing them “the Emilio and Michael of BINI”. A TikTok video showed a reunion of sorts where the four of them were having fun dancing together.

They also talked about how they both didn’t think they would leave the house so soon.

“Akala talaga natin makakabalik tayo, no? Hindi nga ako nagbabay e!” said Emilio. “Confident na confident talaga ako, sabi ko, ’hindi, hindi na ako magbababay’. Pag apak ng Eviction Room, sabi ko, wala na ‘to.”

Despite the early exit, Emilio remained positive that things are bound to get better.

“I am in good spirits,” he stated after his eviction. “Hindi pa tapos ang laban natin kasi dito talaga sa labas ng bahay ni Kuya ang totoong laban.”

The housemates he left behind are already missing his passion and positivity. In the outside world, he is surrounded by a support system of family and fans.

“You did great,” posted his brother, Mikael Daez.

During his call with Michael, Emilio shared his disbelief at the overflowing support that they have been getting.

“Grabe ‘yung suporta ng taong-bayan! Ang lala,” he said. “Bro, 12,000 viewers na tayo. I think this is the most I’ve ever received in my life. Bro, I have more than 10 fans! It’s crazy. How is it possible? I can’t believe it!”

“Grabe ‘yung pagmamahal ng mga tao sa labas,” he added, noting how their viewers loomed to 16,000 within Team Mili’s 4-minute livestream.

Emilio’s followers increased exponentially. His Instagram followers grew from 112,000 to 401,000, while his TikTok has 764.3k as of this writing.
