A South Korean crime-thriller series led by Kim Da-mi and Son Suk-ku is scheduled to drop on Disney+ on May 21, the streaming platform said Monday.

The drama "Nine Puzzles" follows Yoon E-na, a high school student who becomes the prime suspect in her uncle's murder after discovering his body beside a mysterious puzzle piece.

A decade later, now working as a criminal profiler, E-na is drawn into a series of murders, with each crime scene marked by a puzzle piece similar to the one found at her uncle's death.

Da-mi, 30, has showcased her acting range in films such as the two-part "The Witch" series and "Soulmate," as well as in the dramas "Itaewon Class" and "Our Beloved Summer."

Meanwhile, Suk-ku, whose notable shows include "My Liberation Notes" and "A Killer Paradox," will play Kim Han-saem, a detective who remains suspicious of E-na.

Also a part of the cast are Kim Sung-kyun ("Reply 1988" and "Moving") and Hyun Bong-sik ("Gangnam B-Side" and "A Killer Paradox").

The series, which will launch with its first six episodes, is directed by Yoon Jong-bin, who previously helmed the crime drama "Narco-Saints."
