A new trailer for the upcoming movie "Karate Kid: Legends" has been released.

The clip shows how kung fu prodigy Li Fong (Ben Wang) decided to enter a competition to defend himself from a local karate champion. 

His teacher, Mr. Han (Jackie Chan), sought the help of original Karate Kid Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) in training Li for "an epic martial arts showdown."

"Karate Kid: Legends" is directed by Jonathan Entwistle and written by Rob Lieber. 

The film is produced by Karen Rosenfelt, with Jenny Hinky and Ralph Macchio as executive producers.

Also part of the cast are Joshua Jackson, Sadie Stanley, and Ming-Na Wen.
