From her impressive introduction in the first episode up until now, Kaila Estrada admits that she is proud of her role as the talented cyber hacker and agent Max Alvaro in the action series Incognito. During their mid season press conference last April 7, the 29-year-old actress shared how she felt while shooting their action scenes in Yamagata, Japan earlier this year. 

“Challenge talaga when you experience working in such  extreme weather conditions. But seeing the trailer, sobrang nakaka-proud. It really was worth it. Amazing lang. Sobrang nakaka-proud to be part of this show. And proud ako sa aming lahat kasi nagawa namin siya. It’s so fulfilling!” she shared. 

Playing an independent and fearless character onscreen, Kaila shares how proud she feels knowing that younger female audience members have been inspired by her character.

“One thing that I’m really proud of here in Incognito is both Gab (played by Maris Racal) and Max’s characters are very strong empowered women. They’re very independent. Talagang makikita mo na throughout the show they’re equally as skilled as the male characters and that’s something that I’m really, really am happy about. So, I hope Max and Gab’s characters will inspire girls to feel empowered or to be inspired to be independent and to be go-getters, to go for what they want, and to have that fearlessness. Siguro yun lang. I feel like it’s about being fearless and brave and owning and embracing that,” she explained.

During the presscon, Kaila also talked about the possibility of her character falling for either of their two male leads JB and Andres, which are played by Richard Gutierrez and Daniel Padilla, respectively.

“Si Max kasi, I think she is a very compassionate character but she also is morally strong. She always makes an effort to do the right thing. And I feel like parang perfect balance siya ng heart and head. Si JB kasi siya, siya yung mas logical. He also is the one that leads the team pag wala si contractor so I feel like that’s something similar that Max has with JB.

"Si Andres naman, yung decisions niya is motivated by emotions. And very compassionate din ang character ni Daniel so I feel like yun yung similarity ni Max and Andres. I feel like if I were to think about those things that they have in common, siguro yun yung mag-fo-form ng stronger bond with Max and JB or Max and Andres,” she admitted.

The eldest daughter of former celebrity couple John Estrada and Janice de Belen also shared how thankful she was to their entire team, as well as to loyal viewers of Incognito.

“We’re all very, very proud of the work that we’ve done here and it’s all thanks to my co-stars, the production, our directors. Inalagaan talaga namin yung show na ito at yung mga characters namin. Sobrang fulfilling para sa amin na pinapanuod ninyo at minamahal niyo rin kami at yung show namin. Marami pa kayong aabangan na sobrang exciting. I hope you guys are looking forward to that as well,” she said.
