YouTube star Ms. Rachel welcomes second child

YouTube star Rachel Griffin Accurso, more popularly known as Ms. Rachel, has welcomed her second child.

The content creator made the announcement on social media on April 8. "We welcomed sweet baby Susannah into the world! 💕 We are so in love!" she wrote.

Reflecting on the journey of having her second child, she remarked: "Sometimes timing isn’t what you plan and the road to get there is bumpier than you expect, but when you hold your little ones you know… I’m meant to be your mama."

Rachel revealed that her daughter was born through surrogacy.

"I was unable to carry this pregnancy for medical reasons and we were blessed to have a surrogate who gave us the most precious gift possible. We are now all family forever. We have immense gratitude and a deep bond. It’s been a truly beautiful experience. I’m in awe of her," she shared. 

She also penned a message for her husband, Aron, saying: "Thank you for being the best husband and dada!"

Friends and fans online were quick to extend their congratulatory messages.

"Congratulations, Rachel!!!! And my little sister is Susannah, it’s the most beautiful name. I’m so happy for your family ♥️♥️♥️♥️," actress Jennifer Garner commented.

"Congratulations! Susannah is so lucky to have you! What a blessing 🥺 Much love to your family 💕," one fan commented.

Rachel and Aron also have a 7-year-old son named Thomas.

In March, Rachel explained her recent absence from YouTube, citing family-related reasons.

Back then, one fan asked: "When are we getting more episodes? I feel like since you’ve signed with Netflix we don’t really get good content anymore."

Rachel replied: "I’m sorry. We’ve had some family things to attend to. Nothing to do with Netflix, as that is content from YouTube."

Rachel made her debut on Netflix last January.

Titled Ms. Rachel, the show is available to stream in "a curated compilation of her playful, research-backed videos for every stage of a child’s development, from early language skills to phonics and learning to read," Netflix announced in a press release.
