She is set to reprise her role in Wicked: For Good later this year. Throughout her illustrious career, Cynthia Erivo has earned a Daytime Emmy Award, a Grammy Award, and a Tony Award. She has also received three Academy Award nominations, two British Academy Film Award nominations, four Golden Globe nominations, and two Screen Actors Guild Award nominations. Other movies of Cynthia include Drift, Pinocchio, Needle in a Timestack, and Widows, among others.

Teo gained international acclaim for his role as Hae Sung in Past Lives in 2023, a film that received a Best Picture nomination at the Oscars. He was nominated for Best Actor at the British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) for his performance in the movie. Prior to Past Lives, he starred in Decision to Leave, New Year Blues, Pawn, and Leto, among others.

In a 2023 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Teo opened up about his journey to acting. "When I was growing up, I was an athlete and thought I would go to college to become a physical therapist," he shared. "I always loved film, so during my [gap year] I decided to do something I would regret not doing, so I enrolled into Lee Strasberg for three months."

It was during this time that his teacher, the late Irma Sandrey, encouraged him to pursue acting professionally. "I called my dad to tell him, and I knew in that moment I could do this and be broke, work a part time job in a deli or convenience store and act on the site, and be happy. I could be 70 years old performing for kids in a park and be happy," he recalled.

Teo later attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA).
