Bianca Gonzalez has been hosting Pinoy Big Brother for 19 years now. In her interview with Boy Abunda, the television host shared the most valuable lesson she gained from her hosting journey.

"Siguro sa Pinoy Big Brother lagi niyong naririnig 'yung magpakatotoo ka. Iyon 'yung parang lagi sinasabi tungkol sa mga housemates, tungkol sa Pinoy Big Brother pero ako pakikisama," Bianca highlighted.

She went on: "Hindi lang 'yung mga housemate sa loob ng bahay pero pati 'yung nasa labas ng bahay, paglabas ng mga housemates. Parang pakikisama 'yung pinaka-importanteng life lesson kumbaga."

Bianca also recounted her experience when she became a housemate of PBB for the first celebrity edition of the reality show in 2006.

The television host admitted that she initially hesitated about becoming a housemate. "Nung final interview ko, nandiyan lahat ng mga boss, tapos kinakausap nila ako. Sabi ko, 'Ayaw ko po talaga maging housemate.' Umiiyak ako kasi ano ako introvert, sobra akong mahiyain, private ako na tao," she recalled.

Bianca shared that it was Boy Abunda, her manager, who encouraged her to enter the house.

"Si tito Boy lagi niyang sinasabi, 'Hindi, sali ka diyan, magiging maganda 'yan para sa'yo.' Ayaw ko talaga at first. Meron akong mga pagdududa sa iyong advice sa akin," Bianca recounted.

"Pero sa aking paglabas andun ka rin gumabay sa akin and totoo nga, it changed my life both professionally and personally for the better. Kaya salamat, tito Boy," Bianca remarked.

In the same interview, Bianca also reflected on why romance, deep friendships, and conflicts often develop among housemates inside the PBB house.

"Kaya nagkaka-in-love-an, nagkakaawayan, nagkaka-best friendan, dahil dito sa outside world kapag may pinagdadaanan tayo, pwede tayong umalis, tumakbo, pwede tayong maglabas ng saloobin sa ibang tao. Pero sa loob ng bahay wala, kailangan mo talagang i-confront 'yung nararamamadman mo," she pointed out.

Bianca went on: "So wala kang choice, kaya minsan pipitik, tapos mas madaling ma-in love kasi siyempre mula pagka-gising sa umaga hanggang pagtulog sa gabi, 'yun at 'yun ang nakikita mong tao. Madali rin maging close bilang best friend."
