"Karma," a South Korean crime thriller series starring Shin Min-a and Park Hae-soo, is coming to Netflix on April 4, the streamer said Tuesday.

The show follows six characters "whose fateful decisions plunge them into a relentless cycle of retribution," Netflix said in a press release.

Netflix Philippines also posted the official teaser for the show, bearing a tense atmosphere as it shows intercuts of the six lead characters — played by Hae-soo, Min-a, Lee Hee-jun, Kim Sung-kyun, Lee Kwang-soo and Gong Seung-yeon — against an ominous rendition of "Auld Lang Syne."

In one of the cuts, Min-a's character is shown saying, "You have to die for this to end."

Meanwhile, the teaser poster features the six characters bound together by a red thread, which Netflix describes as symbolizing "the inescapable and brutal bonds of fate."

Min-a is widely recognized for her romance dramas, including "My Girlfriend Is a Gumiho" and "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha," while Hae-soo is best known for his role in the first season of Netflix's hit survival series "Squid Game."

Hee-jun is known for the web series "A Killer Paradox" and the film "Bogota: City of the Lost," while Sung-kyun has appeared in dramas such as "Reply 1988" and "D.P."

Kwang-soo gained prominence as a cast member of the variety show "Running Man," which he was part of until his departure in 2021. Meanwhile, Seung-yeon has taken on lead roles in dramas like "Are You Human?" and "Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency."
