As one of the Kapamilya artists currently part of the Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab edition, AC Bonifacio has been one of the most talked about housemates this season. The talented Fil-Canadian performer shared with PUSH ABS-CBN her thoughts before she entered the house earlier this month. 

“I don’t think it’s anybody’s dream to live in a house where your surveillance is 24 hours (laughs). But it’s definitely something that’s been in the books. Because I’ve been watching it since nasa Canada pa ako kasi nasa TFC siya. But I’ve always been curious na paano, how does life really work in there and I have friends who are from PBB pa from the previous seasons. And when I ask them, lagi nila (sinasabi) ang daming natutunang aral sa loob ng bahay. And that’s something I want that I will never, ever stop growing in every aspect that I can put myself in. So that’s what I wanted to join PBB Celeb edition,” she told PUSH in an exclusive interview.

Given the nickname, “Ang Dedicated Showstopper ng Canada,” AC admitted she thought joining PBB would be a good way to reintroduce a different side of herself to the public.

“Kasi mag-ti-10 years na ako in the industry and I just want to show AC as a human being. Kasi pumasok agad ako as a dancer na nag-ho-host at nag-a-acting. So parang yun na naging image of me na performer ako. Nakakalimutan ng mga tao na before I am a performer, I am a human being first. I am a daughter. I am raised to take care of my little brother and take care of the house and do my chores like a regular kid. Yun po ang gusto ko ipakita sa loob. That I am a human being just like you guys,” she explained.

As a fan of the country’s most popular reality show, AC shared which season was the most unforgettable for her to watch. The 22-year-old Star Magic artist shared that it was the PBB Lucky 7 season which first aired in 2016 that stood out the most.

“My favorite iconic PBB moment from past seasons siguro  one that is on the top of my head is yung season na bigla silang nag-Vietnam. Nag-live sila sa PBB house, pinakita yung mga housemates tapos biglang bumalik sila sa van, naka-blindfold sila and then they went on a long drive and then they took a plane to VIetnam, grabe yun. Parang first time yun ng PBB na mag-out of the country. Grabe po yun. That was crazy for me. Kasi paano, hindi niyo alam kung saan kayo pupunta, naka-blindfold kayo during the whole airplane trip. Yun talaga. Paano nila kinaya?” she recalled.

Since joining Star Magic almost a decade ago, AC said she is lucky to be able to call many ex-housemates her friends now and shares which one stands out for her the most.

“I’ve seen clips of everyone who I’m friends with now. Ate Maris (Racal), ate Loisa (Andalio), Joshua (Garcia), ate Jane Oineza because we were in Shake, Rattle, & Roll together, kuya Robi (Domingo), ate Kim (Chiu), ang dami nila na friends ko na ngayon. Pero siguro the most iconic to me is ate Maymay (Entrata) because she’s grown so much since entering the house,” she revealed.
