MANILA -- Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino are off to Los Angeles to attend the US premiere and screenings of their movie "My Love Will Make You Disappear."

The two Kapamilya A-list actors admitted that it’s a mix of nervousness and excitement going into this overseas screening.

“First time ko rin 'to na pumunta ng US for a screening, I mean for a movie. Nakakakaba and exciting na rin to see everyone na gumastos para mapanood ang pelikula,” said Avelino.

Chiu agreed. “Oo naman kasi ibang lahi na kasi 'yung manonood kaya may pressure din.”

On its first day in the box office, "My Love Will Make You Disappear" raked in more than P12 million -- the highest opening day so far for a local film this year.

"Maganda siyang first day for us after everything. Maganda 'yung resulta kaya very thankful,” said Chiu.

On Thursday, the two also paid a visit to the Pinoy Big Brother house, where they met the housemates. Chiu described this batch as "unique.'

“Nagulat kami, bigla kaming pinasok sa loob and then, it felt surreal yung feeling (being back), ang daming memories and all,” she shared.

While it was just a quick visit, Avelino said, “Pumasok na rin ako (noon) pero sobrang tagal na. This time around mga kasamahan din namin sa industriya 'yung nasa loob so anything we can, tips we can give or anything we can do to inspire them, okay lang.”

Chiu and Avelino will grace a special screening and meet-and-greet session in Los Angeles on March 28, 29 and 30 at the Cinemark Carson Theater.
