Paulo Avelino and Kim Chiu received a standing ovation and resounding applause from guests and the whole team after the premiere of their much-awaited movie "My Love Will Make You Disappear" last Tuesday night at SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City.

Right after the almost two-hour film, Kim and Pau gave each other a congratulatory hug while guests teased them to give each other a kiss.

Throughout the movie, fans and guests cheered and screamed on every "kilig" scene, matched with beautiful cinematography captured by the director Chad Vidanes. "Disappear" is also Vidanes’ first full-length feature film.

On their way out of the cinema, Chiu and Avelino waved and thanked  the fans who joined the premiere night.

Speaking to ABS-CBN News, he said, “Hindi ko talaga gusto napapanood ang sarili ko, pero nag-enjoy ako na nag-enjoy 'yung mga katabi ko.”

“Nakakagulat, nakaka-iba 'yung feeling na mapanood sa big screen,” said Chiu.

There were quite a handful of highlights and striking scenes in the movie, but the audience were mostly floored with the number of kissing scenes Chiu and Avelino did in the movie. Asked how many, Avelino said: “Panoorin nila para mabilang nila!”

Chiu’s last premiere night was seven years ago, so this experience was quite refreshing again for the the Kapamilya actress.

“Nakakatuwa na naaliw sila, tumatahimik for a while, tapos natutuwa ulit. Umiiyak. Daming emotions na nangyari dito sa pelikula. Para siyang nakasakay sa rollercoaster,” said Chiu.

Avelino added: “Pero nakakataba ng puso 'yung init ng reactions ng mga tao sa sinehan at sana ma-experience ng mga mas maraming tao in the next coming days.”

‘My love will make you disappear’ hits more than 200 cinemas nationwide starting March 26.
