Months after its pilot, the Kapamilya action series Incognito continues to deliver thrilling action scenes, featuring its stellar cast which includes versatile actress Kaila Estrada.

Kaila, who plays the skilled combatant and hacker Max Alvero, exclusively told PUSH ABS-CBN what it was like behind the scenes.

"It's so fun. I feel like the set is very light and fun even though yung ginagawa namin mahirap. Malaking factor dun yung rapport namin as a group and I feel like tumatagos siya sa screen eh. You guys can see na bonded talaga kami lahat. It really makes the work feel a lot lighter,” she revealed.

The actress also revealed how challenging it is filming the action series and what makes it all worth it.

“We shoot in different locations, so the weather conditions are different. So I feel like yun yung malaking challenge din dun is to be able to withstand or to be able to work under difficult conditions. Pero nagagawa naman namin, and pag nakikita na, pag napapanood na namin siya, we all feel so fulfilled. So parang it's super worth it. Talagang everything that we've done, whatever challenges we faced in terms of shooting the show, sobrang worth it naman. So, yun, sobrang saya ko because of that."

Kaila’s first foray into the action genre proved to be a success, going viral and earning praise with just her first scene in Incognito. In the particular scene, Kaila was seen fighting numerous foes and finishing them off with just her mobile phone.

“The fact that that was my first scene and naging ganun yung pagtanggap ng tao, sobrang saya ko. I think it's very validating of the hard work all of us have put into this show. Not just me, but everybody. Lahat kami, as a cast, even the production, even our directors, lahat kami pinaghirapan namin talaga 'to. So sobrang saya ko pag naririnig kong people enjoy it, people love our characters, and people will continue to watch and support it,” Kaila shared.

The Kapamilya star also admitted feeling pressured upon accepting the project, especially considering how it has always been her dream to star in an action role.

“Sobrang kinikilig ako and very grateful ako kasi nga matagal ko ng pangarap talaga mag-action. And honestly, yung kaba ko going into this project wasn't because I was unsure of the project. Yung kaba ko was because I wanted to be able to fulfill my dream and do it well—the best that I can,” she said.

Meanwhile, Kaila also teased a new project she’s been working on.

"I'm not allowed to mention it yet because it's still in the works. So, but definitely when it's a go, pag nakuha ko na yung green light, then I'll let you know,” she promised.
