Filipino Broadway icon Lea Salonga is set to make a guest appearance in the upcoming fourth season of Fox’s crime drama The Cleaning Lady.

According to Deadline, Lea will be featured in Episode 402, titled "Le Médecin."

The Filipino actress and singer will portray Rose, a wealthy woman with a previous connection to Fiona (Martha Millan). Having married into affluence, Rose never misses a chance to flaunt her generosity. However, when she hires Fiona for cleaning services, her patronizing remarks become increasingly unbearable.

As per its IMDB, The Cleaning Lady tells the story of a "cleaning lady [who] witnesses the murder of an FBI informant by a criminal organization and to prevent getting killed, she becomes a cleaner for them."

Recent series of Lea included Centaurworld in 2021, Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin in 2022, and Pretty Little Liars: Summer School in 2024.

On stage, she headlined Request sa Radyo in Manila in 2024 alongside Dolly de Leon.

In September last year, Lea was honored with her own wax figure at Madame Tussauds.

The Filipino Broadway star expressed that having a wax figure at Tussauds holds special significance for her, as it aligns with a vision she set for herself when she first visited London decades ago.

“Here’s the thing about Tussaud’s: the first time I ever walked into a Tussaud’s [was when] I was 12. It was in London and I went with my mother. At that time, there was a part in the Tussaud’s in London called the Conservatory and there are many artists, actors, actresses, performers, who were part of that particular part of the museum. And there was a wax likeness of Liza Minelli who I got to meet later on in my own life. And so she’s there posing in her tux and her pixie haircut and I think my mother and I were both looking at it and she said, ‘Anak, you never know. One day, that could be you,'" she recounted in a previous interview.

"So this moment is like a manifestation of what happened 40 or so years ago. So the goosebumps are here. This is a little unbelievable," she added.
