As Saving Grace: The Untold Story premieres in the primetime block, more people have started to be in awe of one of its lead stars, newbie child actress Zia Grace.

In an exclusive interview with PUSH ABS-CBN, this generation’s child wonder shared how she started falling in love with the industry at a young age.

"Gusto-gusto ko po kasi maging mag(act). Love ko po kasi ‘yung mga cameras tapos I like to smile din po," the seven-year-old actress shared.

She also candidly shared how much she enjoys being asked for pictures and video greetings from fans now.

Just like any regular kid, Zia admitted she’s playful on set, often visiting her co-stars, including Julia Montes, with whom she enjoys sharing moments, like asking for a healthy snack such as a salad.

She also shared how she enjoys playfully teasing her co-actors, especially Sam Milby.

But that playful side of Zia transforms into a completely different persona during the heavy scenes of the primetime drama series. Zia shared how she is able to take on these emotional moments, crying effortlessly when needed.

Meanwhile, her mom, Jen, has remained fully supportive of the child actress.

Mommy Jen admitted how she didn't expect Zia's rising popularity.

“Parang hindi ko ma-imagine po ‘yun. Siyempre, nakakasama namin siya sa bahay, parang as a normal kid. Tapos, makikita namin sa social media na ano siya, na parang child wonder na daw,” she said. “Sobrang saya, sobrang proud namin kasi sa edad niyang seven years old ay natupad niya po ‘yung wish niya talaga na maging artista.”

She added that they try to keep Zia grounded and ensure she remains a normal kid, reminding her not to let fame get to her head.

Mamuhay ka pa rin as a normal kid,” she reminds Zia.
