Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino's upcoming movie My Love Will Make You Disappear is set to be released in North America this March.

According to a report by Variety, the movie will have a theatrical release across the US and Canada on March 28.

ABS-CBN Films has partnered once again with Abramorama and AJMC, the distributor and the marketing arm of Hello, Love, Again respectively, for the North American release of the film.

My Love Will Make You Disappear follows the story of "Sari (Kim), a woman convinced she’s cursed because every man she loves vanishes" and  "Jolo (Paulo), a brooding landlord grappling with a failing apartment complex," as per Variety report. "Their paths cross as they fight to save a community from displacement, but Sari’s supposed curse threatens their budding romance."

ABS-CBN Films head Kriz Gazmen remarked that My Love Will Make You Disappear is "a testament to the power of kilig as a cultural export."

Meanwhile, the movie will be released in the Philippines on March 26. The movie is directed by Chad Vidanes.

In an interview with the lead stars back in January, both expressed their excitement about the film.

"It’s a date. Sana samahan nila kami. After all the successful blockbuster films ng Star Cinema, kami 'yung next. So praying and hoping na samahan kami ng madlang pipol," Kim said.

Paulo added: "Last year pa namin ina-announce ito, hanggang ngayon ginagawa pa rin namin. So I’m sure umaabot na sa rurok 'yung excitement ng mga nag-aabang since day one."

He added: "Gusto ko mabigay 'yung hinahanap ng audiences especially the KimPau fans, kasi it’s their first film, siyempre to Kim and Paulo it's their first film together."
