"Buried Hearts," a South Korean revenge drama starring Park Hyung-sik, is set to arrive on Disney+ on February 21, the streaming platform said Thursday.

The series follows a scheming executive who exploits a political investigation that uncovers corruption and embezzlement at the conglomerate where he works, Disney said in a press release.

Hyung-sik, known for dramas such as "Strong Woman Do Bong-soon," "Happiness," and "Soundtrack #1," plays Seo Dong-ju, an executive at the Daesan Group who employs illicit means to save his company.

Daesan Group is thrust into the spotlight when a controversial energy project triggers an investigation by Korea's National Assembly — an opportunity that Dong-ju seizes to advance his career and ultimately take control of the company.

The cast also includes Huh Joon-ho, the veteran actor who starred in the boxing series "Bloodhounds," as the manipulative professor and powerbroker Yeom Jang-seon.

The series is directed by Jin Chang-kyoo, who also helmed the military drama "Military Prosecutor Doberman."
