Marvel’s First Family is finally here.

Directed by Matt Shakman, Marvel Studios’ “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” has released its dynamic first teaser, showing the titular family of explorers who must save the world from an otherworldly threat. 

Pedro Pascal is Reed Richards, the smartest man on the planet who leads his family into space and gains powers due to exposure to cosmic rays.

With him are Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm who gains the powers of invisibility and force field projection, her brother, Johnny Storm a.k.a. the Human Torch (played by Johnny Quinn) who has the power to burst into flames and fly, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing whose rock hard exterior and super-strength make him a fantastic addition to the team. 

Also in the film are the planet-eating Galactus voiced by Ralph Ineson, and H.E.R.B.I.E. the Robot.

Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, the Fantastic Four is considered one of the cornerstone titles of Marvel Comics that ushered in an entire universe of characters such as Doctor Doom, the Inhumans, Kang the Conqueror and more.

“The Fantastic Four: First Steps” is coming to theaters this July.
