MANILA -- After revealing that Robi Domingo and Melai Cantiveros will be the hosts of the seventh season of "Pilipinas Got Talent," the judges were revealed Thursday.

Returning judge and former ABS-CBN President Freddie M. Garcia or simply FMG, will be joined by New Gen matinee idol Donny Pangilinan, comedy star for all seasons Eugene Domingo and Asia’s Superstar Kathryn Bernardo.

ABS-CBN News got the exclusive dibs on the judges and they have nothing but excitement for the comeback season of the highly watched talent competition show.

Garcia said he will be the hardest judge to please -- simply because he has seen so many different acts in the past season and it will take something fresh and breathtaking for him to hit the golden buzzer.

“You have to get me excited. I have to feel what you’re doing. At saka hindi ko pa nakikita 'yung gagawin mo. You have to be fresh, dapat mapapaiyak mo ko diyan!” he said.

Pangilinan shared he has been a fan of "Got Talent" shows. He shared that during his downtime or spare time, he binge-watches on "Got Talent" audition videos. Now being part of the judges panel, the actor is curious what Pinoy talents will bring to the "PGT" stage.

“Napahinga tayo ng seven years since Season 6, I know there’s so many more talents that were brought up even from the pandemic... I am so eager to see what the Philippines has to offer and I’m so happy to be part of this!" he said.

After his successful mini-series "How to Spot a Red Flag" with on-screen partner Belle Mariano, Pangilinan is excited for their solo projects before they reunite to do another project again.

“Belle is working on a special project soon, to be announced very soon as well with a great team. She has my full support, we always talk about na wherever it is that we can support each other’s growth, for each other’s experiences we will be there for each other,” her said.

Meanwhile, Domingo said, “I think this is a perfect batch of judges.”

“Kasi we have Kathryn, and Kathryn could be the heart of this batch. Donny is impressive, he’s really intelligent, we really like him. Ang impression ko sa kanya, this man is really respectful, he is also a joker, but at the same time, ang lalim. With Freddie, Freddie our boss -- I call him Freddie I asked permission, sabi ko ‘Can I call you Freddie?’, kasi hindi naman magkalayo ang edad natin,” she said.

For Bernardo, "PGT" is a first and something out-of-the-box, since she’s popularly known as a TV and movie actress.

“It’s something that I want to experience ‘cause it’s a first for me. I think this is a good breaker after doing ‘Hello Love Again’ and before I start with a new project,” she said.

“Parang it’s good to experience this especially now I’m with Ate Melai, Robi, with good friends so marami ring mag-ga-guide sa akin.”
