The 12-part series revolves around a group of employees at a life insurance company, who devise a groundbreaking "divorce insurance" product, Prime said in a press release. As they try to put a price on divorce, the team members learn more about themselves and love.

In the series, Dong-wook, best known for playing a grim reaper in the 2016 romance fantasy "Goblin," takes on the role of Noh Ki-jun, a man with a prestigious academic background and successful career as an insurance expert.

However, Ki-jun is also left broke after three divorces, which makes him determined to create a "divorce insurance" plan.

"The Divorce Insurance" also stars Lee Joo-been, Lee Kwang-soo, and Lee Da-hee.

Joo-been, who recently starred in the hit drama "Queen of Tears," plays Kang Han-deul, a woman who, after enduring five years of mistreatment from her in-laws, decides to get a divorce.

Kwang-soo, formerly of the variety show "Running Man," portrays An Jeon-man, Ki-jun's longtime friend who is drawn to the idea of developing a divorce insurance.

Meanwhile, Da-hee, who hosts the dating reality show "Single's Inferno," plays Jeon Na-rae, another divorcee who becomes intrigued by Ki-jun's past and his divorce insurance product.

"The Divorce Insurance" is directed by Lee Won-seok, who previously worked on the films "The Royal Tailor" and "Killing Romance," and written by Lee Tae-yoon, who also penned "Secret Royal Inspector & Joy."
