BINI documentary nominated in 5th Pinoy Rebyu Awards

The documentary on all-girl group sensation BINI is among candidates for best documentary feature in the 5th Pinoy Rebyu Awards.

According to the Society of Filipino Film Reviewers, BINI Chapter 1: Born to Win is among five features nominated for Best Documentary. 

Directed by Jet Leyco and produced by Tanya Navarro, BINI Chapter 1 documents the meteoric rise of the Filipino girl group.

The documentary,  the first of a three-part series, provided an in-depth look at the group's journey leading up to their first solo concert, "Biniverse."

Also nominated for Best Documentary are Alipato at Muog, Ghost of Kalantiaw, Home of the Brave and Langit at Lupa.

Meanwhile, Isang Himala, a musical adaptation of Ishmael Bernal’s classic Himala, and Tumandok, a drama that tackles the plight of the indigenous Ati peoples of Western Visayas, were also among the list of nominees of the 5th Pinoy Rebyu Awards.
