For the first time in her more than three-decade career in show business, Jolina Magdangal received something special from her movie "Ex Ex Lovers."

Not material, not numbers, not box office results--but the most heartfelt feedback from the audience.

Magdangal, together with her on-screen partner Marvin Agustin, have been going around in cinemas, personally thanking moviegoers and spending some precious minutes talking to them, asking them what they thought of the movie, as well as their learnings and insights.

The Kapamilya actress was also touched by the efforts of their fans who brought old photos, magazines, and other memorabilia.

"Nakausap namin sila, heart to heart. Hindi man ganun katagal, pero 'yung marinig namin talaga kung ano 'yung nararamdaman nila, ngayon lang nangyari ito sa akin sa 30-plus years sa industry," she said.

More than the "kilig" magic of the OG Marvin-Jolina reunion, the movie tackles forgiveness, acceptance, being parents, and more. "Sana makita nila na it's not just a reunion romcom movie. 'Yung dumarating na feedback more pa. Mas bigger pa yung nakikita nila," Magdangal said.

ABS-CBN chief operating officer Cory Vidanes and Star Magic head Laurenti Dyogi were some of the invited guests at the special screening organized by Perry Linsangan.

As of February 13, "Ex Ex Lovers" is now showing in more than 200 cinemas nationwide.
