MANILA — 90’s on-screen partners Marvin Agustin and Jolina Magdangal were over the moon after the warm support they received from industry friends, colleagues, mentors and families during the red carpet premiere of their reunion movie “Ex Ex Lovers”.

Jolina and Marvin were also joined by their younger co-stars Juan Karlos and Loisa Andalio. Project 8 producer Dan Villegas and Tonet Jadaone also graced the red carpet, together with the movie’s director and self-confessed fan of the “MarJo” love team, JP Habac.

Some of the guests spotted during the premiere were award-winning directors Olivia Lamasan, Jerry Lopez Sineneng, Ronnie Alonte, ex-couples Tom Doromal and Jackie Gonzaga, Cornerstone Studios head Erickson Raymundo, among others.

“Masayang masaya kami ni loveteam. Kasi lagi ko po itong sinasabi, hindi lang po ito pelikula para sa amin. Pangarap po namin ito, ilang taon naming tinrabaho para matuloy at magawa namin ito. Gustong-gusto namin tong pelikulang to,” said Marvin.

He added, “Hindi lang po para sa amin, para rin po sa mga taong nangangarap na hindi man lang kami nagkatuluyan sa totoong buhay, sa pelikula daw sana!”

“Sana po magustuhan niyo po itong munting regalo pa namin para sa inyong lahat,” said Jolina.

“Ex Ex Lovers” will hit cinemas on February 12.
