Netflix unveils season 2 teaser for ‘Avatar: The Last Airbender,’ introduces Toph Beifong

Netflix has unveiled the trailer for the upcoming second season of Avatar: The Last Airbender.The teaser follows Aang (Gordon Cormier), Katara (Kiawentiio), and Sokka (Ian Ousley) as they move forward after their hard-won defense of the Northern Water Tribe against the Fire Nation. With the threat of Fire Lord Ozai (Daniel Dae Kim) still looming, the trio sets out on a new mission, to seek the support of the mysterious Earth King in the growing war.As seen in the teaser, season 2 will also mark the live-action debut of Toph Beifong, portrayed by Miya Cech. As per Netflix Tudum, a beloved character in the original animated series, Toph is a blind Earthbending prodigy who eventually joins the Gaang. Though often underestimated because of her size and disability, she has a distinctive combat style and immense power, signaling her arrival as a force to be reckoned with.Fans online were quick to react to the teaser.&quot;I&#x27;m so excited for this.
