The cast of action series "Incognito" gathered Tuesday for a fan convention in Taguig, where fans had the chance to interact with the stars.

The cast includes Baron Geisler, Maris Racal, Anthony Jennings, Kaila Estrada, Richard Gutierrez, Ian Veneracion, and Daniel Padilla.

“It’s always good to see the fans [and] interact with them, to see them up close. Makikita mo 'yung ngiti nila, napapasaya namin sila kahit papaano,” Gutierrez said.

"We are very grateful sa pagpunta nila," Padilla added.

In an interview, Padilla spoke about stepping into the action genre.

“Syempre hindi agad, pero ito kasi, pag kasama mo sila Chard (Richard Gutierrez), sila Tito Ian, talagang gamay nila ito. Nakakapagtanong ka kung tama ba ginagawa mo. Iba 'yung grupo namin—suportahan talaga,” he said.

Padilla also admitted that the action genre was outside of his comfort zone but enjoyed the challenge nonetheless.

"Ang sarap din na may naa-unlock kang ganito sa sarili mo. Hindi mo inaasahan na kaya mo, kaya ang sarap din gumising araw-araw sa taping. Iba 'yung paghahanda mo sa araw na 'to. It’s not gonna be an easy day—it’s really gonna be a long day,” Padilla shared.

While he enjoys learning under the new genre, he acknowledged that action scenes come with risks.

“Minsan sa mga choreo, nagkakatamaan. Pag may fight scene, hindi maiwasan. Pag-uwi mo, pag tingin mo sa salamin, pasaan ka. Ganun talaga, eh—para kang nagte-training pa rin araw-araw,” he said.

For Gutierrez, the show stands out from other action-packed series he’s done before, citing the cast he's working with.

“I think what makes a difference is the cast. Kasama ko si Daniel ngayon, si Ian, and the rest of the cast. Parang ensemble siya na action. Lahat kami nag-aaction. Kakaiba din for the audience—something fresh, something new, and really exciting sa Philippine action,” he said.

Gutierrez also said he took pride in the series being partially shot in Italy.

“Para makapag-shoot kami sa ibang bansa, talagang kakaibang pakiramdam—kakaibang achievement for us. To be able to showcase a different country para sa audience natin dito sa Pilipinas and for Filipinos all over the world,” he said.

“I think the promise is we did everything we can to elevate the action series in the Philippines. To be part of Netflix and to create an ensemble cast to shoot all over the world and give our audience a visual spectacle—I think that’s what we can promise. Sana magustuhan ng audience,” he added.

"Incognito" is scheduled to premiere on January 17 on Netflix, January 18 on iWantTFC, and January 20 on the Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, Jeepney TV, A2Z, and TV5.
