Kapamilya actors Maris Racal and Anthony Jennings are set to star in the film "Sosyal Climbers," which will premiere on Netflix this February.

On Thursday, Netflix released the trailer for "Sosyal Climbers," a romantic comedy about a couple who assume fake identities to scam wealthy individuals.

The trailer, which runs for over a minute, begins with Racal and Jennings' characters taking over a mansion, before being warmly welcomed by affluent neighbors. Burdened with massive debt, the duo is left with no choice but to keep up the charade. 

In one scene, Racal says, "P2.5 million 'yong kailangan natin. Wala tayong choice kundi magpanggap," and suggests that the duo profit from their neighbors' "boring marriages."

"Sosyal Climbers" will stream on Netflix beginning February 27.

Racal and Jennings' pairing, dubbed "MaThon," began through the 2023 series "Can't Buy Me Love." The duo currently star in the action drama "Incognito."
