MANILA -- ABS-CBN and GMA Network have officially joined forces once again for "Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition Collab" to mark the 20th anniversary of the iconic reality show this year.

The historic contract signing took place Tuesday, January 28, at the famous yellow house attended by ABS-CBN executives chairman Mark Lopez, president and CEO Carlo Katigbak, and chief operating officer for broadcast Cory Vidanes. Representing GMA were president and CEO Gilberto Duavit Jr., executive committee chairman Joel Jimenez, and senior vice president for programming Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes.

“Our partnership with ABS-CBN has reached a new creative height — on TV, streaming, and in the movies, with the recently concluded record-breaking film 'Hello, Love, Again.' Socially, the next chapter should be something we’ve never done before, and here we are. We are very excited to collaborate with ABS-CBN to bring to the Filipino audience the country’s longest-running reality show, 'Pinoy Big Brother,' especially as it celebrates its 20th anniversary,” Gozon-Valdes said during the contract signing.

Gozon-Valdes also noted that this collaboration comes at a significant time for GMA, as its talent arm, Sparkle Artist Center, is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.

“Incidentally, Sparkle is also celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. 'Pinoy Big Brother' is a cultural phenomenon — it celebrates real, unfiltered life stories and serves as a launchpad for dreams. Thank you to our storytelling partners, ABS-CBN, for making this collaboration possible,” she said.

For the first time, the reality competition will air on GMA Network, a monumental step in the partnership between the two media giants.

ABS-CBN’s Vidanes expressed her gratitude and excitement for this collaboration.

“We are very, very happy to announce that on the 20th year of 'Pinoy Big Brother,' we are doing this special collaboration with GMA. Thank you very, very much for welcoming us into this valuable partnership that will not only unite us but also bring together our Kapuso and Kapamilya fans, as well as our Sparkle and Star Magic artists. This is truly a historic moment,” she said.

Vidanes also assured viewers that this collaboration would deliver a fresh and exciting edition of "Pinoy Big Brother."

In this special edition, housemates from Star Magic and Sparkle GMA Artist Center will come together inside the Big Brother House.

On social media, fans have started speculating about the celebrity housemates who will be joining the show.

However, Big Brother assured everyone that the list of housemates for the "Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition Collab" will be revealed in due time.
