After its exclusive airing on VIU, the romantic-comedy series starring Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano "How to Spot a Red Flag" is making its way to free TV starting January 27, 9:30 p.m., occupying the third slot in ABS-CBN’s primetime series block.

Pangilinan and Mariano, popularly known as DonBelle, expressed their excitement in their free TV comeback and appreciation to the Dreamscape Entertainment and VIU Philippines teams that they’ve worked with.

“We’re so happy that we’re able to work with teams na very open, collaborative,” Mariano said.

“That’s what ABS-CBN is, we are very collaborative. They really listen to what the artists have to say. And siyempre alam din nila mas magiging parte yung artista sa project when they are fully committed,” added Pangilinan.

DonBelle spent a whole lot of time in San Juan, La Union filming the series and gave their recommendations on where to go and what to try for first time visitors.

“Surfing,” they chimed.

But aside from that, Mariano said a must-visit place in La Union is Tangadan Falls. “Kahit mahaba yung hike, it’s worth it. Sobrang ganda talaga. Para kang nasa ibang lugar,” she gushed.

“After nun, kain kayo. Top ten food trip sa La Union. Go on like a restaurant-hopping,” Pangilinan recommended.

During the press conference, the actor also lauded Mariano’s special appearance in the new series "Incognito," where she played a kidnap victim.

“Sabi nila, ikaw daw ang ‘New Gen Kidnap Queen,’” he said. “Ang galing niya. Natatakot kasi ako, nakikita ko si Belle, feeling ko totoo 'yung nangyayari. 'Yung pinortray niya, I think totoong emotion 'yun. Pina-feel niya sa amin na talagang na-kidnap siya, nakapaa sa gubat, tapos sinasakal siya ni Eruption. It’s such a crazy situation to be in but she pulled it off.”

Pangilinan added that this is most recent incident that he felt ‘kilig’ for his on-screen partner.

“Kinilig ako kasi tuwing nakikita ko na parang nag-eexcel siya, o gumagawa siya ng ibang bagay na nagpu-push sa kanya and she does it with flying colors, it really makes me proud,” she said.

Mariano, for her part, has nothing but appreciation for Pangilinan’s support. “Nakakatuwa lang na he’s supportive to what I’ve been doing and what I’m passionate about,” she said.
