Choi Woo-shik and Park Bo-young are set to star in a new Netflix series. Titled Melo Movie, the K-Drama will be released on February 14.

On Friday, January 17, the streaming giant released the teaser for the series.

Fans online were quick to react to the teaser.

"I can't believe this is happening, my two favorite actors together!" one fan commented.

"Wowwwww releasing on valentine’s day is already giving me butterflies ❤️, another fan said.

"I think I am super gonna love this. A love story between a director and a movie critic, this going to hit all the feels for sure," another fan wrote.

Melo Movie follows the rekindled romance between Ko Gyeom (Woo-shik) and Kim Mubee (Bo-young).

"Gyeom, a lifelong cinephile turned film critic, crosses paths again with Mubee, a budding director with a complex past. Though they were drawn together in the past, an unexpected incident caused them to stay apart — until fate brings them back to face each other, confronting both old wounds and sparks," Netflix shared in a press release.

Aside Woo-shik and Bo-young, the series also stars Lee Jun-young as Hong Si-jun, an aspiring musician and Gyeom’s best friend, and Jeon So-nee as Son Ju-a, a screenwriter and Si-jun’s ex-girlfriend.

Melo Movie is directed by Oh Choong-hwan from Hotel del Luna and Start-Up and is written by Our Beloved Summer writer Lee Na-eun.

Woo-shik previously starred in the Netflix series A Killer Paradox in 2024, Our Beloved Summer in 2021, and Fight for My Way in 2017, among others. 

Aside from his television projects, Woo-shik starred in various films including Wonderland in 2024, The Policeman's Lineage in 2022, Time to Hunt in 2020, and the Oscar Best Picture winner Parasite in 2019.

Meanwhile, Bo-young starred in the K-Dramas Strong Girl Nam-soon and Daily Dose of Sunshine in 2023, Doom at Your Service in 2021, and Abyss in 2019, among others.

She also starred in the movies Concrete Utopia in 2023, On Your Wedding Day in 2018, and The Silenced in 2015.
