Netflix's blockbuster South Korean survival drama "Squid Game" had just premiered its highly anticipated second season, but the streaming giant is already building anticipation for the third and final installment.

On the X account of Netflix K-content, the streamer unveiled late Wednesday a 16-second teaser for the third season of "Squid Game," which is set to drop this 2025.

The clip shows players entering what seems to be a new game zone, where Young-hee, the iconic giant robotic doll from the Red Light, Green Light game, is joined by a male counterpart named Chul-su.

"Everyone say hi to Chul-su," Netflix wrote in the caption.

In a separate post, the cast members are shown reacting to the teaser with lead actor Lee Jung-jae saying, "Here comes Chul-su."

"'Squid Game' Season 3 will bring brand-new games and even wilder character dynamics," Jung-jae said in the subtitled clip.

"Who are the new characters? Is Chul-su the only one?" cast member Yim Si-wan asked.

Actress Kang Ae-shim, meanwhile, said the upcoming season "will make you break into tears."

"Squid Game," which dropped its second season on December 26, centers on a clandestine competition where hundreds of financially desperate contestants gamble their lives in deadly versions of children's games, all for a shot at a massive cash prize.

Director Hwang Dong-hyuk previously said the third season will mark the conclusion of the series.
