“I met with Boss Vic. Andoon pa lang tayo sa ganon. Meeting pa lang, I am waiting now for the next step, which is giving me the actual script. Ganon iyon, they will give you stuff first, then you will choose one you are comfortable to do,” she explained during the press conference for her Valentine’s concert “Reset” in Makati City, Tuesday afternoon.

According to Velasquez-Alcasid, she is particularly interested in taking on comedy and light drama projects.

“Since I haven’t been acting, I can’t tell yet if I am ready to do something else and experiment. I have to get used to the grind first. That is a whole other experience eh. I have to know my reaction first, if gusto ki mag super drana or horror. I will bade it on how I will experience everything first,” she added.

Velasquez-Alcasid also said that she is looking forward to the most this year is her 4-day “Reset” concert in February.

“It is about me singing the old songs and resetting it now. A lot of these songs I sang 20 years ago. I am excited to know how I would interpret those songs now,” she explained. “Siyempre iba na interpretation ko now that I am a mother, asawa na ako… I wanted to give it new life, new arragments,” she added.
