Following their participation in the wildly popular Kapamilya series "Kadenang Ginto," Francine Diaz and Seth Fedelin became part of the pop culture conversation and have continued to captivate fans ever since.

Diaz presented herself to the world as a beautiful, talented, and sweet girl, which earned her numerous brand endorsements. She thrives with family-related drama projects.

Diaz's on-screen partner, Fedelin, on the other hand, has a devoted fan base due to his attractive, amusing appearance. Something in his eyes makes him convincing as an actor.

But, of course, in show business, celebrities cannot please everyone. Diaz and Fedelin disprove doubters with their Metro Manila Film Festival 2024 entry "My Future You," which showcases growth not only as actors but also as individuals.

In the film, Lex (Fedelin) discovers a dating app that somehow connects him with Karen (Diaz) in 2024. Karen wants Lex to help her modify moments from her past in order to prevent her parents from separating.

However, every shift has unforeseen ramifications, altering their lives in unexpected ways. As they approach their last chance to rectify everything, Lex and Karen must determine whether their love can withstand the test of time.

The two Kapamilya performers have grown noticeably, portraying their roles in a simple but soulful manner. From being playful in "Kadenang Ginto" to being the future of loveteams in "My Future You," Diaz and Fedelin allow themselves to experience what it's actually like to be an artist.

Don't people enjoy seeing artists grow? Growth opens up new possibilities as we progress in our lives. Individuals grow while pursuing self-fulfillment.

Of course, for young fans, the "kilig" element of the film is present, beautifully captured by its director Crisanto Aquino and production team, Regal. Regarding the "kilig," it is ideal for their age, nothing less, nothing more.

Their on-screen chemistry is convincing and the project rises to a new level. This kind of obvious attraction cannot be faked; it is something that two actors either have or don't.

Diaz and Fedelin appear to have everything in their lives, including popularity, followers, and producers who back them. While the "kilig" is there, they must enjoy the moment and just switch out the outside noises. The future looks promising for these two young stars.

Produced by Regal Entertainment, “My Future You” also stars Almira Muhlach, Christian Vasquez, Peewee O’Hara, Bodjie Pascua, Mosang, Marcus Madrigal, Vance Larena, Izzy Canillo, Angelica Lao, with special participation by Alex Calleja and Donna Cariaga.
