Actor Andres Muhlach said feels great in being "shipped" with Ashtine Olviga, as part of the “Jayfer” love team for the upcoming Viva One series, “Ang Mutya ng Section E.”

Muhlach will portray Mark Keifer Watson, the class president of the troublemaking Section E, while Olviga takes on the role of Jay-Jay Mariano, a transfer student at Higher Value International School.

“It feels really good. Tuwing may eksena kami ni Ash, kinililig ako. Kahit si Direk minsan he will play music,” he said.

Meanwhile, Olviga likened Muhlach to her “answered prayer.”

“Marami na ako naging ka-love team. Pero si Andres yung nag-click po talaga. Di ko inexpect. Siyempre Andres Muhlach na yan. sibrang grateful. Parang answered prayer. May Kilig,” she shared.

According to the Theodore Boborol, director of the project based on the phenomenal Wattpad story “Eatmore2behappy” by Lara Flores, the on screen chemistry of Jayfer is palpable.

“Sanay na ko, kumbaga ang dami ko na donidirek na kolig moments. Kaya mas tinitingnan ko mga staff, at kinikilig sila,” he explained.

“so level 9– kasi hindi pa sila eh. ‘Pag sila na siguro 10,” he jokingly added.

Also top-billing the series is  Rabin Angeles who takes in the tole of  Yuri Hanamichi, Keifer's JaPinoy best friend.

Viva One will be releasing the series sprimer titles  “Ang Mutya ng Secrion E: The Class Begins” on Dec 27.

The  episode will drop on January 3, 2025 with new episodes every Friday, exclusively on Viva One.
