The best love team as ever! MarJo is baaack!" another fan wrote.

The two stars also took the time to meet their fans in Malta in between their shoots.

It was in October when it was announced that Jolina and Marvin are set to headline a reunion film.

In a previous interview with ABS-CBN News, Jolina described Ex Ex Lovers as a "dream project."

"Hindi porke't comeback, gumawa lang basta. Kaya inabot rin ng taon, kasi ang dami rin naming kinonsider," she pointed out. "It’s about ex lovers.

Marvin shared that the film has a mix of comedy and drama. Parang ganun 'yung mararamdaman nila while leaving the cinema," the actor said.

He added that he and Jolina work hand in hand with directors Dan Villegas and Antoinette Jadaone in helping develop the film.

"Nakakakaba kasi masyado na silang nag-eexpect. We really worked with sila Tonet and sila Dan, para 'yung pelikulang matagal na nila hinihintay ay 'yung tipong mag-e-enjoy talaga sila.
