"Newtopia," the zombie apocalypse series led by Blackpink's Jisoo and actor Park Jeong-min, will be available for streaming on Prime Video, the platform announced Wednesday.

In a press release, Prime Video said "Newtopia" would premiere on its service on February 7, 2025.

"Newtopia" follows the story of Lee Jae-yoon (Park Jeong-min) and Kang Young-joo (Jisoo), a couple whose relationship abruptly ends after an argument stemming from the struggles of being apart due to Jae-yoon's mandatory military service. The two later find themselves racing to reunite as a zombie outbreak engulfs Seoul.

On Wednesday, Prime Video also released stills from the series.

Jeong-min is an award-winning actor best known for his roles in acclaimed films such as "Deliver Us from Evil" and "Smugglers." He has also appeared in web series, including "Hellbound" and "The 8 Show."

Meanwhile, Jisoo debuted as a member of the girl group Blackpink and has also pursued a career in acting, earning her first lead role in the 2021 romance series "Snowdrop."
