Released Tuesday on Netflix's social media accounts, the 54-second teaser opens with the revelation of Earth's impending demise, prompting a space mission designed to "carry humanity's fate."

"Can we save Earth by going to space?" Min-ho asks, to which Hyo-jin responds, "No, I doubt it," leading him to question the purpose of their mission. Hyo-jin playfully retorts, "Who knows? Ask the stars," shifting the teaser's tone from ominous to lighthearted.

The series' star-studded cast also includes Oh Jung-se ("It's Okay to Not Be Okay" and "Mr. Plankton"), Han Ji-eun ("Be Melodramatic" and "Lovestruck In The City"), Kim Joo-hun ("Castaway Diva"), Lee El ("My Liberation Notes"), Lee Cho-hee ("Once Again"), and Heo Nam-jun ("Sweet Home" and "Your Honor").

"When The Stars Gossip" is scheduled to premiere on the streaming giant on January 4.
