MANILA - Filipino-American actor Nico Santos will be featured in NBC's new mockumentary “St. Denis Medical.”

Santos will be the guest star in the latest episode of the new comedy series as a veteran RN (registered nurse) named Rene.

His character in the  hospital-set show is described as a “leader of a clique of nurses that give off a Mean Girls vibe — which makes Rene the ‘Regina George’ of St. Denis.” It’s said his “intimidating demeanor” will challenge the authority of Tolman’s head nurse character, Alex.

Debuting last November 12,  the cast of "St. Denis Medical" include Wendi Mclendon-Covey (Joyce), David Alan Grier (Ron), Allison Tolman (Alex), Josh Lawson (Bruce), Kahyun Kim (Serena), Mekki Leeper (Matt), and Kaliko Kauahi (Val).
