Jonathan Roumie, who portrays the iconic role of the Messiah, graced the Teal Carpet on Friday to interact with supporters and fans of the show. He expressed his gratitude to the many Filipino followers of The Chosen and how they are are also leading the way for other believers.

Roumie also led the fan screening event of Christmas with The Chosen: Holy Night, a retelling of the birth of Jesus through the eyes of Mary and Joseph — something he admitted is very apt for the holiday season.

“It’s gonna be so intense, beautiful and heartbreaking as well. You can always expect a good cry when you sit down to watch a season of The Chosen. I think, for me, it’s my favorite season yet,” Roumie said.
