SINGAPORE -- The blue carpet event organized by Disney+ for its fan event in Singapore was graced by a handful of Korean drama stars who will top-bill the streaming platform’s slate for 2025. 

Among the stars who enthusiastically enjoyed the night with their Hallyu fans were Ju Ji-hoon and Park Bo-young from the series “Light Shop Keeper,” who were joined by their director Kim Hiewon and writer-creator and visual artist Kangfull. 

“Low Life” stars Ryu Seungryong, Yang Sejong, Lim Soojung also graced the fan event together with director-scriptwriter Kang Yoonsung. This mystery crime drama set in the 1970\s, finds the cast embarking on a treasure hunt in the West Sea.  

Fans need to watch out for “Knock Off” come 2025. This K-drama series will star Kim Soo-hyun and Cho Boah, under the direction of Park Hyunsok. This black comedy series will depict stories based on fake luxury goods in a counterfeit market, where Soo-hyun’s character will be employed after losing his previous job. 

After her extraordinary performance in the K-drama “Extraordinary Attorney Woo,” Park Eun-bin is back but this time, not as a lawyer, but as a neurosurgeon in the medical-thriller series “Hyper Knife.” She will play the role of Jung Se Ok, a promising doctor and pupil to her senior Choi Deok Hee played by Sul Kyunggu. Being hailed as the best neurosurgeons, they found themselves working for an illegal operating room. 

Legendary Korean actress Kim Hyesoo will star in the new comedy-drama series “Unmasked,” about an investigator and his crew who are set to uncover mysteries and eventually save their department from being abolished. Hyesoo will be joined by Jung Sungil under the direction of You Sundong. 

“Captain America: Brave New World” lead actor Anthony Mackie also graced the blue carpet and gamely interacted with fans in the event. 

On the second day of the content showcase, Disney+ will be presenting all these Korean and Japanese content like ‘Gannibal Season 2’ which stars Sho Kasamatsu.
