<p>MANILA — Filipino indie rock band We Are Imaginary is set to represent the Philippines at an international independent music festival NO HEADLINER this October.</p><p>The event is happening on October 18 to 19 at West Lake Water Park in Hanoi, Vietnam.</p><p>This marks the first time that a Filipino band will be performing in the said Hanoi-based festival which is set to gather 20 international and local acts. </p><p>“It is always our dream to be heard around Asia so to be invited and to play once again outside our usual turf is such an exciting opportunity,”  lead vocalist and guitarist Ahmad Tanji said in a press release.</p><p>“Our last international gig was for the Archipelago Festival (Jakarta, Indonesia) last 2017. It has been a while indeed,” he said.</p><div><span class="fr-img-caption fr-fic fr-dib" style="width:957px"><span class="fr-img-wrap"><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1755574524331we.jpg" class="fr-fic fr-dib fr-dragging"/><span class="fr-inner"><em>Handout</em></span></span></span></div><p>We Are Imaginary&#x27;s upcoming performance in Hanoi comes ahead of their long overdue album, slated to be released at the end of the year.</p><p>“We also have a new single this October, and hopefully we’ll be able to drop our long overdue album this November,” Ahmad said. “We are planning lots of shows in different cities in and out of the Philippines. Watch out for that!”</p><p>Over a month ago, We Are Imaginary dropped its new single “Stockholm,” described as &quot;a gripping meditation on toxic attachment disguised as love.&quot;</p><p>Accompanying the song release is a Dracula-themed music video shot in Bangkok.
