Hyun Bin shares message for Filipino fans ahead of Manila meet-and-greet event

Korean actor Hyun Bin shared a message for his Filipino fans ahead of his meet-and-greet event in Manila this August titled Hyun Bin: Landing at Solaire. 

On the Instagram page of Solaire Resort, the Crash Landing On You star remarked that he is looking forward to finally meeting his Filipino fans.

"Hello to all my fans in the Philippines. This is Hyun Bin. Thanks to Solaire, I finally got the chance to come and meet you in Manila!" he said.

The actor expressed how thankful he is to have constantly received support from his fans in the Philippines. "I've always been truly grateful for the warm support you've sent from afar. I hope meeting you in person is a small way to return that kindness. See you on August 8 at Solaire," he stated. 

Fans can earn a raffle ticket for a chance to see him live for every ₱2,000 single-receipt dining spend at Solaire Resort Entertainment City or Solaire Resort North.

Aside from Crash Landing On You, Bin previously starred in the series Memories of the Alhambra and Secret Garden. Back in August of last year, it was announced that Bin is set to headline the new Disney+ series Made in Korea.

For films, the actor headlined The Point Men, Confidential Assignment 2: International, Rampant, and The Negotiation, among others.

In an interview in 2021 with PUSH ABS-CBN and other Philippine media, Bin shared about he usually chooses the next projects he would be taking on.

"I don’t think I have a 'dream role.' I constantly look for something new, be it the genre, role or story, so I guess everything I haven’t tried yet can be my ‘dream role’.' Usually, I don’t select a drama or film with a specific genre in mind, so it doesn’t really matter. As long as it has an interesting theme or story that I want to try, then any genre will do," he shared.

The actor further explained: "After finishing shooting for a film or drama, I browse through new scripts, and see if there’s a piece with a role I’m attracted to... I’m just constantly trying to look for something new, so I’m also curious."

Bin got married to his Crash Landing on You co-star Son Ye-jin on March 31, 2022.

In the press conference of The Point Men back in December 2022, Bin opened up his feeling after becoming a father.

"I don't know, now my shoulders become heavier as I am the head of the family," he confessed.

The actor went on: "In the future, I have to work harder and become a wonderful appa (father). That's all I can think of right now."
