K-pop artist Rocky to hold Manila 'fan con' in August

K-pop singer Rocky, who rose to fame as a member of the boy group Astro, is heading to Manila in August for a fan concert, the event's local promoter announced late Sunday.

On its social media pages, production company Wish Us Luck said the 26-year-old artist will hold his first "fan concert" — a hybrid of a performance-driven concert and an interactive fan meeting — in the Philippine capital, titled "Fill In The Blank."

The show will be held at the SM North Edsa Skydome on August 2, according to the post.

Tickets are priced as follows:

• Patron - P5,500

• Gen Ad - P3,500

A ticket pre-sale will take place on June 16 via this link, while the general sale starts on July 13 through SM Tickets' official website and outlets.

Born Park Min-hyuk, Rocky debuted in 2016 as a member of Astro, winning fans over with singles including "Crazy Sexy Cool," "All Night" and "Candy Sugar Pop." In 2022, he also debuted in a duo sub-unit with Astro's leader Jinjin.

In 2023, Rocky parted ways with Astro and simultaneously left Fantagio, the company that formed the group. However, he has remained on good terms with his former bandmates, even joining them on stage in Incheon, South Korea, over the weekend during their "The 4th ASTROAD Tour [Stargraphy]" concert.

Outside of Astro, Rocky—who is now managed by his self-founded agency One Fine Day—has also pursued a solo music career, releasing two extended plays along with several other singles.
