MANILA -- Charo Santos-Concio, former ABS-CBN president and CEO,  is one proud Kapamilya as she walked on the red carpet of the ABS-CBN Ball 2025 on Friday at Solaire Resort North.

"I've been a fan since the '60s of ABS-CBN so I think really my heart is ABS-CBN. Nasa dugo ko na ang ABS-CBN. And I truly love our audiences. I truly love the audiences who supported ABS-CBN through the years and we continue, we hope that we continue to give the wonderful stories," said Santos when asked what makes her proudly Kapamilya.

Aside from having fun with colleagues from the entertainment industry, Concio also stressed the importance of attending this year's ABS-CBN Ball saying that it's for a good cause.

"Well there's a lot of camaraderie here at the Ball with the stars, the bosses, the shareholders, are friends from advertising, our partners. So it's time to chill, it's time to relax, it's to catch up with a lot of our peers and colleagues and we are doing it for a cause. I mean more than just glitz and glamour this is beyond elegance because we are really truly supporting causes through the ABS-CBN Foundation," she said.

The 2025 ABS-CBN Ball, dubbed as “Brighter Together,” celebrates the artists, employees, and industry partners who continue to shape ABS-CBN's journey as a global storytelling company. 

It also champions greater cause as a portion of the proceeds will help support ABS-CBN Foundation’s advocacies.

Currently, Santos is one of the stars of "FPJ's Batang Quiapo." She is also starring in the movie "Only We Know" alongside Dingdong Dantes.
