Celebrities walked the runway at the recent Bench Fashion Week for Spring/Summer 2025 held last April 25-26 at The Playground of Bench Tower in BGC. 

The first day featured collections by international brands Urban Revivo, La Vie en Rose, and Human. 

Homegrown brands Maligaya Clothing Co. by Roko Arceo and Reveri by Ria Bolivar also presented their collections, both highlighting local talent, elements, and materials. Among the models for day one was beauty queen and actress Ariella Arida.

The second day of the Bench Fashion Week featured the designs of Furne One’s Amato with the collection “Birds of Prey”, which aimed to “merge couture with personal storytelling”. 

Day Two also featured the preppy outfits of Bench Club. Among the artists who walked the runway in campus chic were MYX VJ Robbie Jaworksi, Time To Dance host Gela Atayde, How To Spot A Red Flag’s Jameson Blake, and Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab ex-housemate Kira Balinger. 

Other Star Magic artists who strutted down the ramp were Elyson De Dios, Icee Estrada, and Angelica Lao.

Also flexing their style and flair were the members of P-Pop groups HORI7ON, G22, and VXON. 

The place was packed on both days. Spotted in the audience were beauty queen-actress Maxine Medina, How To Cheat Death’s Khalil Ramos and It’s Showtime’s Ryan Bang with his fiancée Paula Huyong. Also in attendance were Ina Raymundo and Harvey Bautista, among many other celebrities and industry bigwigs. 

Capping off the weekend was the Bench Design Awards 2025. It aims to celebrate the next generation and those deemed the best in Filipino fashion. 12 local designers presented their collections, each showcasing standout creativity and craftsmanship.

From these twelve finalists, three were hailed as the winners: Karl Nadales with his A-17 Collection inspired by the theme of migration, Peache Garde with his youthful Seascape Collection, and Steph Verano with her vintage fisherfolk-themed Cast Collection.

These three “impressed with their originality, execution, and vision for the future of fashion. Their collections showcased fresh perspectives and a deep understanding of design as cultural expression,” according to the fashion brand’s social media posts. 

The roster of finalists, dubbed “a new batch of visionary creatives” also included Vin Orias, Andre Plaus, Alser Lumawag, Jorem Biadoma, Marc Carcillar, Renee De Guzman, Sandra Dela Peña, Daryl Tejano, and Gil Salazar.
