Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11 alumnus Jan Silva couldn’t help but become emotional towards the end of the recently concluded PBB Unforgettable GENeral Assembly at the SM Sky Dome.

In an exclusive interview with PUSH ABS-CBN, Jan revealed the reason behind his emotions.

“Sa totoo lang, personal problem kasi me and my mother wala talaga kaming budget. Hindi ko po alam kung si mama is nangutang na naman ba para lang makapunta dito. Sobrang saya ko po as in kasi first time na first time po ito ng nanay ko na manood ng live. Nandon si mama na sinuportahan ako kahit na mahirap yung pinagdadaanan namin,” he openly shared.

Jan also recalled how his mother was unable to attend the Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11 big night due to financial constraints.

“Nung big night hindi siya nakapunta kasi wala din talaga kaming extra budget. Wala talaga po. So ngayon nagulat ako, nag-chat lang si mama kahapon na dadating daw siya. And then parang nasabi ko, ‘Ba't siya dadating?’ Eh alam na alam ko naman na money problem talaga sa amin. So yun nagulat ako, medyo na-excite ako, na masaya. Hindi ako nalungkot, naiyak talaga ako sa sobrang saya,” he expressed.

He went on to share how it was also the first time his mom saw him perform on stage in front of a large audience: “Grabe yung saya talaga. Sobrang bilis lang heartbeat ko nun. Lalo, andito si mama kasi nga makikita niya ako mag-perform sa stage. Kasi never pa ako nakita ng nanay ko na umapak sa madaming tao sa stage na mag-perform ng talent sa singing, dancing,” Jan said.

Meanwhile, Jan shared how it has always been a dream of his and his fellow Gen 11 housemates to perform on one big stage together.

“Dream come true ko talaga ;to. Kahit na i-review nyo pa sa PBB, nagsabi talaga ako sa kanilang lahat na sana sa isang stage man lang na magkakasama kami lahat is yung magpe-perform kami. Singing, dancing, tsaka lahat, lahat. Gustong-gusto ko talaga itong mga experience na kasama sila lahat,” he told PUSH ABS-CBN.

He went on thanking the people who supported them along the way: “Madaming tao na pumunta dito at nagpapasalamat ako sa lahat. Lalo na sa PBB Management at sa Star Magic.”
