Actress Iza Calzado took to social media to share a heartfelt reflection after walking the red carpet with her husband, Ben Wintle, at the recently concluded ABS-CBN Ball 2025.

In an emotional Instagram post, Iza expressed her deep gratitude for sharing the special moment with her partner.

“It’s been a week since Ben and I walked the red carpet at the ABS-CBN Ball. As I look through these photos and rewatch the video, my heart is filled with deep gratitude. 🙏🏽✨,” she wrote.

Behind the glitz and glamour, Iza shared that their presence at the event was symbolic of the journey they’ve taken together as a couple.

“What may seem effortless is, in truth, the result of so much intention, preparation, and love — not just in what we wore, but in how we choose to walk through life together,” she said.

She likened the attention to detail in preparing for the event to the care and effort they’ve poured into their relationship over the years.

“Every detail that night was carefully considered, much like the care we put into nurturing our relationship,” she added.

Iza also opened up about how Ben has become her source of strength during challenging times.

“There are moments when life feels overwhelming — when the noise around me, or even the emotions within me, start to tip the balance. And in those moments, Ben is my anchor. Quiet and steady. The one I lean on when I need to find my footing again. 🤍,” Iza wrote. 

Reflecting on their journey, Iza acknowledged the strength of their bond, built through years of shared effort and commitment.

“We both know it’s not always easy. It never truly is. But what we have is built on patience, trust, compassion, and shared effort,” she wrote.

Iza went on, “And that makes it all the more beautiful. Because our story may not be perfect, but it’s perfectly ours. And it’s something we both deeply value. 💫.”

Last year, Iza and Ben celebrated a milestone in their relationship as they marked their 13 years together as a couple, including six years of marriage since tying the knot in Hong Kong.

“13 years of being together, 6 years of that being husband and wife and almost 2 years as parents. Ben, we made it! We are still married! Yay! Hahaha! 🤞🏾,” Iza wrote.

“So glad we chose to do the work together through life’s ups and downs and that we continue to grow in ways I never could have imagined the day we said our vows,” she added.

Iza expressed, “Thank you for your love, patience and your humour even in the darkest of times. Thank you for being strong for the family. 🙏🏽.”

Meanwhile, Iza shared the inspiration behind her gown for the ball’s Spring Formal theme, which was held last April 4. Her gown was designed by Jo Rubio.

Iza shared, “Spring comes forth after a dark winter. 🖤 Attending the ABS-CBN Ball has been a journey of self-discovery since I joined the network in 2012. With each passing year, I’ve come to appreciate the power of restraint and the brilliance in simplicity. The older I get, the more I understand what truly resonates with me.”
