The search is on for the next batch of Binibining Pilipinas queens.

Organizers made the announcement in the pageant's social media pages on Wednesday, saying applications may be submitted via email or in person at the Bb. Pilipinas office in Quezon City until March 21.

"For 61 years, Binibining Pilipinas has crowned icons, empowered voices, and set the stage for greatness. Will you be the next Binibini to wear the crown?" read the post.

Last year's edition of the national pageant crowned four queens: Myrna Esguerra (Bb. Pilipinas International), Jasmin Bungay (Bb. Pilipinas Globe), Christal Dela Cruz (first runner-up), and Trisha Martinez (second runner-up).

Esguerra is set to compete in this year's Miss International pageant. She will aim for the Philippines' 7th crown.

Bungay, on the other hand, finished second runner-up in Miss Globe 2024, which was won by Diana Moreno of Colombia. The two were recently reunited during Moreno's Manila visit as part of her tour as the reigning titleholder.

In previous editions, Bb. Pilipinas sent representatives to Miss Universe, Miss World, and Miss Grand International, among others.
