(UPDATED) South Korean actor Song Joong-ki is looking forward to having a "wonderful time" with his Filipino fans when he visits Manila for the first time later this year.

The actor, best known for starring in the hit romance drama "Descendants of the Sun," is set to hold his "IAM Song Joong-ki: Live in Manila" fan meet at the Mall of Asia Arena on May 24.

The one-night event, presented by IAM Worldwide, marks Joong-ki's first live appearance in Manila.

"I am very excited at the thought of spending a wonderful time together with all of you who have always supported me," he said Wednesday in a promotional video, where he invited fans to the event.

The clip concluded with the actor speaking in Filipino: "Salamat po. Mahal ko kayo."

Also on Wednesday, IAM Worldwide dropped the seat map for the event, listing the following ticket prices:

• SVIP 1 - P12,500

• SVIP 2 - P10,500

• SVIP 3 - P8,500

• Lower Box - P6,500

• Upper Box - P4,500

• Gen Ad - P2,500

Tickets may be availed only through IAM Worldwide product purchases, with a presale happening from March 28 to April 6 for members. The general sale will open on April 7.

Joong-ki was recently announced as the latest brand ambassador of IAM Worldwide, a health and wellness company.

One of the most popular actors from South Korea, Joong-ki is also known for the dramas "Sungkyunkwan Scandal," "Arthdal Chronicles," "Vincenzo" and "Reborn Rich."
