Miss Universe Philippines (MUPH) has released the official "evening glam" shots of this year's batch of candidates. 

"Stunning. Sophisticated. Simply elegant," read a post on MUPH's social media pages.

Pageant fans have dubbed this year's MUPH as the "puksaan" (annihilation) edition with its abundance of strong contenders. 

Aside from promising newcomers, the current batch includes seasoned beauty queens such as Reina Hispanoamericana 2017 Winwyn Marquez, Miss Earth Air 2023 Yllana Aduana, Miss International 2018 first runner-up Athisa Manalo, and former Binibining Pilipinas Globa Chelsea Fernandez.

MUPH 2025 is also the first under the leadership of newly appointed national director Ariella Arida, who succeeded Shamcey Supsup. The two finished third runner-up in the 2013 and 2011 editions of Miss Universe, respectively.
